A meal plan grid showing six dishes labelled Monday to Friday with a bonus snack: beef ragu, chicken fajitas, garlic mushroom pasta, Korean fried chicken, cottage pie, and apple crumble cake.

Nicky’s Notes

A woman with long brown hair and a black top smiles at the camera, sitting indoors with a brick wall and some greenery in the background.

It’s half-term week, so I’ve gone for a lovely mix of easy family favourites, quick dinners and some proper comfort food.

We’re starting with a rich, slow-cooked beef ragu, followed by quick and colourful chicken fajitas. There’s a creamy garlic mushroom pasta for a meat-free night, crispy Korean fried chicken for a bit of a treat, and a proper homemade cottage pie to finish the week.

And for this week’s bonus, I’ve chosen my Apple Crumble Cake. It’s got a lovely soft sponge, juicy pieces of apple and a buttery crumble topping.
